Euro-Diagnostica Inc, is located in Westport, Connecticut and is the US division of EDAB. Euro-Diagnostica is dedicated to the diagnosis of human disease. The company was set up in 1992 following a merger between Ferring Diagnostica, BioCarb Diagnostica, Euro-Diagnostics and Medscand Diagnostics (MILAB). In 2003 Euro-Diagnostica acquired the complete Diastat product range from Axis-Shield, followed in 2004 by the acquisition of Wieslab AB and Wieslab Analys AB.

From establishments in Arnhem (Netherlands) and Malmö and Lund (Sweden) Euro-Diagnostica develops, manufactures and markets human diagnostics focused on selected specialty areas like autoimmune deficiency and rheumatology. Within these areas we are producing packages of enzyme immuno assays for the diagnosis and monitoring of specific diseases. The acquisition of the Wieslab companies further strengthened our position in the production of autoimmune diagnostic kits.

Research and development forms a central part of the company’s activities and is often in international collaborations. The combination of a clinical testing  laboratory, active academic research, and the development and production of diagnostic reagents gives Euro-Diagnostica a unique position in order to meet future customer needs.
